Remote Chatter

Description

Remote Chatter is chat client/server. The server will connect to various chat standards(AIM, IRC, ect.). The client will be able to connect to the server and is able to see any messages that where sent via the chat standards. The idea behind the application is to be able to stay online 24/7 without actually staying on line. :) I turn off my main computer to save a bit of power. It would be nice to keep chat clients online to be able allow friends and family to leave me messages. I also wanted to ability to access my chat clients from anywhere with a simple client. The whole idea is kind of like why most people never turn off their cell phones. It is because in today’s world, we like to stay connected.

The Remote Chatter application messages between the client and server to be encrypted. This is added for the simple reason of I wanted to see if I could do it.

What am I learning
